Always reliable for parts

I've bought from Giant Bicycles several times now, mostly small parts like chains and brake pads. This time, I got a new Cassette. Just like before, the order processed quickly and shipping was on time. It's good to know I can count on them for consistent quality and delivery. That's why I keep coming back.

Good quality, fast shipping

I ordered a pair of cycling gloves. They arrived in 4 days. Fit well and seem durable. Happy with this purchase.

Got my new Trance E+ bike

Okay so I finally pulled the trigger and got a Trance E+ e-mountain bike. I was a bit nervous about buying such a big item online, but everything went pretty smooth. Shipping took about a week to get here, which wasn't too bad considering it's a whole bike. It arrived mostly assembled, just had to put on the front wheel and pedals, which was easy enough. Took it out on the trails last weekend and it's awesome. Super fun to ride. Felt like a solid purchase, definitely worth it.

Hey, I'm trying to decide between a Giant Fathom and a Trek Roscoe. Anyone have experience with both, or thoughts on which is better value?

W William Lopez 1 month ago
Both are solid bikes. I ride a Fathom and love it. Giant usually gives you good specs for the price. Trek's good too, but sometimes you pay a little extra for the name.

Totally depends on your riding style and what deals are out there. I'd hit up a local dealer for each and test ride them if you can. Specs look similar on paper, but feel is everything for mountain bikes.

Are those Black Friday deals usually good for the higher end bikes? Like, can I expect a Propel to be discounted then?

L Linda Phillips 3 weeks ago
Definitely. Black Friday is one of their big sales. I snagged a Reign for a sweet price a couple years ago during that sale, think it was like 25% off.

They usually do pretty good discounts on previous model year bikes, especially for Black Friday. Don't expect huge cuts on the absolute newest stuff though.

Anyone know how to figure out what size bike to get? I'm 5'9" and looking at a Revolt.

B Barbara Lopez 4 weeks ago
They have a sizing guide on their site for each bike model. Check that out, it's usually pretty accurate. Also, your local dealer can help you out if you go in.

Definitely use their size chart. I'm 5'10" and went with a Medium for my Fathom, fits great. Don't just guess!

Just wondering if anyone's had to return a bike they bought online? Was it a pain or pretty straightforward?

S Steven K. 1 month ago
Yeah returns were easy, did it last month for an Escape. Just had to bring it back to the dealer I picked it up from.

It's not like shipping something back to Amazon, since it's a bike. You return it to the Giant retailer where you did the Click and Collect. They handle it from there. Not too bad actually.

Hey guys, thinking of grabbing a new Trance, but I'm in NYC. How long does shipping usually take to get here?

R Robert 3 weeks ago
For bikes, they don't ship directly to your house. You gotta do the Click and Collect thing, so it goes to a local dealer. Then you pick it up there.

Yeah, what the other guy said. My Stance E+ went to my local shop in Brooklyn, took about a week for them to get it ready after it arrived. Depends on the shop, too.
